Job Description
- Contact various customers to sell Company products and services and provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to the customers/distributors.
- Prepare and maintain customer/distributor lists of all sales calls and contacts, and provide the internal Sales & Service staff with timely reports related to all sales and promotional/development activities Â
- Place telephone calls to customers/distributors to give follow-up information, make appointments, and aid in qualifying sales leads.Â
- Review and report marketing leads to qualify prospective customers/distributors interested in Company products and services and acts as a liaison between company’s Technical and Operational departments regarding customer/distributor issues and needs. Â
- Organize and participate in customer/distributor and industry conferences, trainings, facility tours, conventions, association meetings, exhibitions, trade shows and etc. as required or as may benefit the company’s relations and business development.Â
- Develop, prepare and travel to customer sites to conduct demonstrations and presentations to existing customers/dealers and prospective customers/dealers.Â
- Advise the Operational and Technical departments of customer/distributor complaints and concerns seeing that appropriate actions are taken to reach a satisfactory resolution.Â
- Visit customers/distributors required to discuss timely issues, future business, follow-ups, and as required or beneficial to maintain good relations.Â
- Perform other related duties to the Sales & Service Departments function as assigned by the supervisor that shall be beneficial to the company, customers/dealers, and the promotion and development of new business.Â
- Maintain and update accurate inventory of marketing and demonstration products for all Rapid Response marketing and sales materials as may be required for distribution to current and potential customers/dealers.Â
- Provide demonstration and application training at the time of installation and whenever required by users (lab technician, doctors, etc) and preparing quotations and working out price details of all products and consumables.Â
- Assisting and doing tender documents preparation, from the beginning along with attending the tender until the finalization of deals. (Follow up and information collection for all the upcoming tenders prior to its publishing date).Â
Other SpecificationÂ
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Field or equivalent. Preferred BME
- Minimum 2 years experience in related field
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to apply them in a sales context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to provide innovative solutions.
