- Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Supervises Sales managers.
- Determines annual and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, and analyzing trends and results.
- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas and projecting expected sales volumes and profit.
- Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply and demand.
- Creating reports on sales performance
- Update action plans and financial objectives.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.
- Attend all department meetings, hotel meetings, and sales events as necessary.
- Achieving sales growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Analyzing sales statistics/ trends
- Able to provide training and lead the Sales team
Required skills and qualifications:
- Proven sales experience meeting or exceeding targets
- Previous experience in a similar role in Hospitality
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and management
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
